I used to be married to one like that, you wouldn't want to take an open wage packet home to her. must try and find a photo of my Springer who used to "smile" on demand.lovely dog ,she smiled at our window cleaner one day and he thought she was snarling ,he never came again.View attachment 222517
Life's too short.
Remember when I was down pit and we used to collect our wage packets, there was a collier who was married to a brute of a woman. On pay days she used to turn up and take his wage packet off him. He had to walk home whilst she always had a lift. One day one of my mates said enough is enough and turn on her telling her to leave poor Albert alone and he was coming with us to the club with his pay packet for a pint. Poor Chris didn't know what hit him when he came round later in medical centre. You didn't mess with big Wendy. Years later I saw her working on the doors as bouncer in Rotherham. Boy you didn't cross that one.I used to be married to one like that, you wouldn't want to take an open wage packet home to her. must try and find a photo of my Springer who used to "smile" on demand.lovely dog ,she smiled at our window cleaner one day and he thought she was snarling ,he never came again.
