Yep the shorter tail housing accommodates the extra length, I'm sure it's not just the pump housing, it's the part that houses the front clutch but I suppose that may also be part of the pump housing. It matters not, with the bigger clutch the box is 15mm longer making it a 24, the 15mm shorter tail housing means that overall length is the same so mountings, props etc are all the same. I think the output shaft to the transfer box is also different to accommodate the shorter tail housingYes, it says with the HP24 front end fitted it is 15mm longer. Presumably this means the pump housing. However I was told that with the shorter diesel tailend fitted as well it works out the same length.
Will clarify when I am down there.
