dropping a range rover 3.5 v8 into my series 3

morning guys,

I know this question has probably been asked a billion times but I struggled to find anything when I searched.

Do the mounting points on the V8 the same as the original engine that's in the series 3 ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You need to buy or make adapters from the V8 mountings to series mountings on the chasis

my s3 is currently a diesel - would I need to replace fuel tank/lines for petrol etc ?

Drain tank thoroughly and flush lines with clean fuel should be ok
Good electric fuel pump in existing line.
I had to put a return line on mine as the carbs were overfueling/flooding.
