Managed to bag another bargain, got myself 2 more LED lights as per the ones on the front, but as a 'flood' pattern with 60 degree beams instead of the 30 degree on the spots for less than £25 :D.....

So these hopefully will land middle of next week and will then replace the ones on the rear I use as reversing lights/work lights.....

Will let you know what these ones are like.

Then it will be a case of buying another set of spots and another set of floods for the roof bar, and then maybe a 13" bar to fit 'inside' on the bull bar to replace the x2 8" spots...and I think that will do

Do you have a link to the £25 quid ones? Thats a good price for these... And do they do the spot & flood pattern?

Yes, the same seller does both, and they come from inside the UK via tracked post, so quicker delivery than from Hong Kong etc, but reckon they just have a job lot over here....

Spots....

I don't know this seller, nor connected etc, so I am not recommending, but the first lot I got came out quick and seem good, so hopefully the next lot will be just as good.

This is what he also sells that I was thinking to replace my 2 spots on the bullbar...

Thanks... He seems to be selling a lot of these! I didn't realise they were from the same seller further down the thread! liking the idea of 4 for approx £46 plus postage!

My new goodies arrived today.....

Same lights as I fitted on the roof bar (2x 18w 1,260 LM Cree LED's) but this time in the 60 degree flood beam (instead of the 30 degree spots) to replace the 2 lights I have on the rear....will post up when I have switched them over and what they are like, but expecting good things given the 2 I have fitted up front

Might be a bit hard as the 'driving' lights are fitted in the middle of my roof bar, so not sure if I can do a comparison.

Will try and show the pattern of the fogs before I fit them.

cheers :) just curious as to how much the pattern differs and esp the range

Only fitted them last night, but they are good :D

Will try and get some pics up soon, but a load better than the work lights I had fitted

I need my lights under the bumper for backing in and out the trails out here but it will be a while cuz of them damn 3 amigos lights won't turn the Fock off

Well, as I said above, managed to get the new LED's fitted on Friday evening.

The bracket was a pain to fit with the bolts, as I have them fitted low down so couldn't get access to the nut this time, so instead of messing around and a lot of cursing when I loose the nut behind the metal work I decided to weld the brackets on - not very pretty with welding in the dark, but hey ho, they are on and certainly not coming off ;)

Need to tidy up the cables, but apart from that I think they look a lot better with being more compact than the halogen work lights I had fitted before, and they are a lot brighter.

If the rain stops I will try and get some night pics, but they have a good spread, as I can have them pointing further downwards and they still light up more area than before, and hopefully they won't dazzle too much when I am reversing in the dark and cars are behind me...

Managed to get some pics in the dark.....and believe me where I was parked is dark - can't see your hand in front of your face ;)

A nice even spread of light with no real 'hot spot' of focus, so very pleased.

Just need to get another set of flood and spot to finish off the front light bar now...

Well, having seen 'Robs' thread on his new light bar with only 12 lights on it, thought I might need a few more, as only have these at present...

normal_20141127_080554.jpg

so had a think what I can do, and came up with these....

normal_20150325_091631.jpg

a 20" light bar with a mix of spot/fog and a couple more LED spots.

Am going to put the bar on the two mounts in the middle of the light bar, and then move the existing spots to the next mount and the new ones replace the remaining halogen lights I have fitted :D

I also have some LED markers that I will install onto the light bar, as I have at present LEDs fitted in the halogen lights acting as side lights, so these will replace that feature.

Will post up pics when I get a chance to do the install, as she is going in for MOT tomorrow.......

Also, will have 3 pairs of good halogen lights with 2 LEDs fitted for side lights going spare if anyone needs some ;)
