I liked your side light idea when you originally did it and plan to do it when I fit a light bar.

Are you planning to do the same to the LED ones? If so what are your thoughts on how to do it as they don't have a single reflector to illuminate. Seems it'll be a pain which is the only thing putting me off LED spots.

Cheers.

For the rears i will just put on a side marker light for the red led near the rear work lights.

As for the front light bar.....not sure yet, but the brain is spinning with several ideas, but need to get new lights first

you've got me looking at leds now :D

why would you want a bunch of these over a light bar?

led light bars seem to cheaper and have higher output for the space.

:D

I like the light bar i have as can turn on the lights independently so if i dont need too much light i can turn on only 2 ;) or all 6 depending on what i am doing :D

I would say these ones are the ones he is talking about:

2x 9INCH 54W CREE LED FLOOD WORK LIGHT BAR OFFROAD DRIVING 4WD UTE SPOT 4x4 Boat | eBay

When I get the roof rack on mine I'm going for 4 of these ones for the front:

2x 7INCH 36W CREE LED WORK LIGHT BAR FLOOD OFFROAD LAMP 4WD BOAT ATV DRIVING SM | eBay

then 1 of the 2x6 LED ones each side and 2 at the back.

Then maybe 2 of these on the bumper on an A bar. Think they should fit

2PCS 125W Black Motorcycle CREE U5 LED Driving Fog Spot HeadLight Lamp Headlight | eBay

Not sure I need that much light from a single light, given I have 6 on the roof, 2 8" spots, plus separate Xenon and High Beam in my modded lights ;)

I have now found this UK seller:-

Spot Lights...

6500K 18W 6 CREE LED Work Lamp ATVs SUV Truck Spot Lamp Light Pure White | eBay

Flood lights....

Square 18W 6 CREE LED Work Lamp ATVs SUV Truck Flood Light Pure White 4" | eBay

I have no connection with the seller, but he came back to me within 20 mins and offers a 1 year warranty, and is uk based.

Might put an order for 2 flood ones for now to replace the rear lamps I have before I go crazy and order 6 more for the front.

Here we go, cheaper now as well! £70 for the pair

400535343923

2PCS 54W CREE LED WORK LAMP SPOT BAR LIGHT TRUCK BOAT OFFROAD 4WD 12V 24V 4x4 | eBay

Seller is this guy - sunyee-intl

Ordered the pair above came very quickly and avoided any customs charges.

The warranty is fantastic. One light stopped working contacted the guy and he sent me another, no questions asked, free of charge inc shipping. Turned out to be a loose wire which I soldered back on and used as a rear light!

Got the HID spots as well off him

Normally when I ask a question through ebay if they are in china etc message only comes back next day and in pigeon english, this was pretty much by return and in good english, but like everything, who knows really where it is coming from......

None of the eBay sellers for this kind of kit are UK based.

Took off the light bar last night, and fitted the 2 new LED lights :D
