I currently have a 2000 model P38A 4.6 V8 Autobiography which, I will have had for 10 years next March. In those 10 years, other than an issue with the MAF sensor, I've had genuine, trouble free motoring. Sadly, this year it has become an incredibly stroppy teenager!
Dancing central locking ( the aerial has been disconnected for flat battery issues) Roof lining sagging, bulbs constantly blowing (especially headlights) Windows opening of their own accord while driving but the latest is the suspension.
Never had an issue with the EAS before, ever! Last MOT was advised f/o/s airbag perished so decided to replace them all & the shocks too. Since then I've had trouble keeping it up (the car, not....) I have had the unlock suit from RSW Solutions since I bought the car and no errors have showed up. I've also had my friend check with his OBDII reader and only issue that found was 'pressure switch low'.
The car is currently inhibited to its highest setting but the front end has dropped, funnily enough the f/o/s is sitting even lower. if the car is parked in any other setting, as soon as you close the door the valve block ticks away letting all the air out to try and level itself out then it'll take about an hour for the pressure to build back up again. I've been around (as much as I can without a lift) with a bottle of soap solution and can't find any obvious leaks (only the one my neighbour dropped while unloading her shopping)
Could this be a faulty pressure switch, dodgy height sensor (the f/o/s does show 10mm lower than the opposite corner on the EAS suit) but they're so rusty, without getting the car in the air there's not much I can do.
Any ideas please guys would be wonderful, thank you in advance
