Drain pipe for sun roof

Spent this morning removing all the windscreen trim and skittle panel etc to try and reseal the pollen filter housing. I did reseal it all, but it was dry as a bone so I don't think it was leaking from there. Cleaned A/C drains again, nothing came out of there. Checked sunroof drains, and blew them through with air, checked for holes in the welds and the condition of the windscreen bonding generally, nothing.

I ended up taking a lot of interior trim off so I could get the carpets folded right back, and the underlay out of the car to check all over and then I saw it.

My drivers side A/C drain was disconnected. The rubber tube that goes through the floor had fallen off. I've put it back and secured it with a jubilee clip (there was nothing on it before), hopefully this has sorted it out.

There was water running up and down the sills inside the car where the wiring runs, and one of the earthing points by the inertia switch is a tiny bit corroded, but nothing a quick clean won't cure, other than that apart from water soaked in the soundproofing everywhere (now drying in the shed) it looks okay.

Lets hope so!

Hi long time since my last post, water in the footwell on a p38 right hand drive, if the water is on the drivers side this is due to heater "O" rings if the water is on the left hand side this is due to blocked pipe from the air con. this pipe comes out adjcent to the geat box it's an open pipe just needs a clean out as for the "O" ring could try radiator stop leak i used it on my 1995 P38 put it in over a year ago done the job with no prob.
