hey i am having the same problem with my range rover kindly let me know how u sorted the issue.cant get door open for a month

I'm afraid you may have to wait a little longer ...
We tend not to give out that sort of info to people who just rock up on the chance ...

I just joined your guys forum, I am having the same issue guys. Door closed no lock pop no handles open outside or inside. Key fob nope... Cdl button on dash nope... Don't want to rip off door card... Would like to avoid breaking the lock in position if I could. It would seem this thread started out with my same issue and ended with somewhat a selective tone regarding who is privileged enuf to recieve the info we l322 owners are sure to need someday. Well my day was two days ago when I acquired mine.. I just want to be able to cruise with my gal in the front with me is all... It's a bit tacky to have her jump into the front on such a refined vehicle... Or to be driving her around like some kind of Kardashian If I have to prove my mettle to be worthy of said knowledge just let me know and I will take on such challenge ... dream cars shouldn't have to be 3 passenger vehicles only lol... Thanks guys I need to voice my frustration about this .... I heard that you can go to dealer and have them flash the lock or bcem. ? Is this true ? I would think its mechanical not electrical but who knows...

The privileged bit is to do with security we will not put up how to get into the motors on an open forum for every one to see, and the credit card bit was banter which you will get a lot off on here.
And welcome to the mad house :D

Thank you for the reply, I suspected as much and you are correct it would make for a lot of trouble to post said info openly. I suppose if I could be PM'd it would be greatly appreciated. I have plans to either go to the dealer here in Sherman Oaks CA to have them see if it's maybe something they can have their computer reset or if indeed it's a new lock actuator that is needed. But a diy solution from this forum would be a better option because I have read about going into the window opening at top of door with a long screw driver/chisel and hammer and going to town on rounded "knob" of actuator housing ?? Is this the magic formula or is there a less invasive procedure available ? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated friends

Just your passenger door that doesn't unlock / respond?

As I said on the intro thread, 30 years a cop makes me wonder if anyone PM'd the answer to how to get into a vehicle, to someone showing photos of the outside of a vehicle, and a stock "found online" photo of an interior.
Oh and I don't care if you throw your dummy like you did earlier. If it is yours, you should appreciate people being wary.

I been away awhile but it's been for work, I still have not managed to fix the issue regarding the door being stuck in the closed position. I bought a new lock for the pass front door, and will attemp to solve this come Saturday, weather permitting. But as a revive of a revive, any advice or links you guys could share regarding the manner would be useful as I upgraded to the i****7and lost everything pics links and note I made for this endeavor . I believe it be useful to upload pics? Would that be cool with everyone? Is it even necessary lol? But anyways, thank you guys

I'm yet to pull my drivers door apart but there is a how to on here from The Saint, he is the Door man, is the size of a doorman and also a church door .. man.

When I pulled my door apart - it was open, this makes it soooo much easier!

As I suggested in the original thread way back when, it may be possible to get the seat out and gain better access. From memory, the door card is only a couple of screws, then it just pulls off. Getting it past the side of the dash will be the hard part!

Yes it is sorted, there is a clip on the end of the cable that came off.have pm d you to let you know how
H8 to be a Richard but how does sending the remedy to ONE individual help the masses?
Noodle is an Italian word but to use it is FOC

Ok well thanks guys, it was surely an abundance of info on here, and I did take bits and pieces away from it all, but in the end I found a way to open the door, not reduce the door panel to bits, and how to not smash with a screwdriver the casing for the lock actuator. this Superlocked door problem is not to daunting and I feel you can do this in maybe 30 min; new lock replacement and everything! I did. fairly easy. It was all a matter of studying the lock mechanism it's self (got mine on eBay 40$) and figuring out how the Superlock "does what it does". The process of disengaging the lock after that becomes very apparent. I believe that LR engineered the lock and positioned it in such a way that no breaking or smashing is necessary, I mean after all we are talking about a refined set of individuals not savages...
Any way, I myself having a fair amount of familiarity with a screw driver, realized that doing this with a screw driver is a mistake unless* you have one that is as thin as an 12aug wire and about 2-3 feet long . I used a nice old school coat hanger of the metal variety.
So I will end this with saying :
"Necessity is the mother of invention"
It's not hard to piece together what I am trying to say, especially if you have a actuator in hand. Just hold it up the way it fits in the car and looking from the TOP down you will see the weak point in the 2 plastic casings that cover the mechanical parts of the actuator (remember top view)
