Hello,

When I was fixing a problem with my 200TDI injection pump last week I had to remove the throttle lever from the splined shaft as seen in this photo that a guy posted on another forum below:

The guide I read on the web says that the throttle lever has to be re-installed on the splines exactly as it was taken off using the markings on the lever. I never marked anything up but does any one know the reason for ensuring this is re-fitted as it came off? I imagine it is to ensure that the throttle opens the same as before, or is there more to it?

That in't mine! And i don't have very short little stubby nails like that either :eek: That photo is from a Seat forum I think. Well, I found it yesterday, the bloke has done a full re-build thread of his pump with pics.
