Does the Becker Sat Nav have a security code?

Hope someone can help me.

I took the factory Becker navigation unit out of my old FL1 HSE with the intention of putting it back in the car when I sold it, but I never got round to doing so and I've now traded the car in. This leave me with the old unit which I was thinking of putting on ebay, but I didn't get a security code with the unit, so I'm wondering if I need to get this from Land Rover.

Does anyone know if these are coded, and if so what the process is to get the code. Like I say, I no longer have the car, so my dealer may be reluctant to let me have the details (I do however have a copy of the V5 so this may help).

Any help gratefully received.

When ours was disconnected we had to obtain the code.

JonFre, Thanks for that. Looks like a trip to the Land Rover dealer is on the cards.

Phone them up, easier if one where purchased new and quote chassis no. ( on v5)
