Hello all,
At the moment I’m trying to get the paperwork to register an ex military 109 onto the road in which I require a document of conformity
All of these websites charging hundreds of euros require proof of registration and pictures of plates and I can’t get them without a COC, Any ideas on what to do?

I just wondered as I didn't know what authority you were up against.

Your 109 is it a Rover 9 or 11 or Series 3? If you have the contract plate with a Contract No. & Asset Code it will tie in with Technical Data Summary of the relevant EMER that will give the exact specifications of your vehicle. If the plate is still there it will have the ERM & I may have a picture of it in service..

It’s a Land Rover series 3, I have the registration, I managed to get it off google aswell as some paperwork for it using the reg. I don’t know if these are good enough for the dvla when applying for the v55.
The military reg is 99 ka 33 and the contract no is lr3600

Being quite a late Series 3 unfortunately that contract is not one of the 18 contracts listed on my particular EMER Technical Summary Data Sheet.

I think the best way ahead is to join the Military Vehicle Trust as they have a vehicle verification service with an established rapport with DVLA & are used to steering the way through registration.

I’m afraid I don't have an in service picture of your Rover.

Can I ask, are you speaking to DVLA or just E-mail?

I would actually speak to somebody, and ask for somebody higher up if the said person says "I dont know"

Where is your nearest DVLA, Vechile tax office?
Ask for an inspection and drive it there (insure it on VIN).
