Other Discovery projects

Hope this finds everyone is keeping safe and well

so what’s everyone got planned for there discovery this year please

for me it’s

full service
Fit my 19 x wheels and new tyres
Upgrade to larger V8 discs and carriers all round
Fit sliding boot floor
Repair and fit new front A bar
Fit tubular rock sliders

Hi Stuart,

I'm changing all the oils in mine (engine, gearbox, transfer box and both axles), replacing the coolant hoses for silicone and new coolant then going to generally tidy it up.
Also hopefully getting my aircon re gassed tomorrow for £25 by a guy at work.

that's a reet bargain!

Evening all

I hope to follow the below plan:

1. May: EPB service and a full service ( done )
2. 16th June:- LOF clutch parts, LOF bearing to be fitted along with LUK DMF ( done )
3. 18th June:- The newer oil pump, water pump, front and rear belts, front & rear tensioners, new idler pulleys, aux belt, crank bolt, crank oil seal, antifreeze ( done )
4. July:- AC regas, long roof rails fitted and hope to find some nice LR roof bars
5. August:- TC oil change, 4 wheel alignment, and hopefully get my 19" wheels refurbed and new AT tyres ( would have happened this month but the clutch threw a wobbler )
6. September:- New grill and pads all round, try and find a nice LR roof box, black, one of those Powerful UK face lift grills ( black, silver, black )
7. October:- NC500 trip with other LR owners and a brake fluid change
8. November:- full service and try and find a nice full leather interior
9. December: Probably sell the D3 for a FL2 HSE or sell the TD4 and put towards a caravan or sell them both and put towards a RR evoque for her or a RR TDV8

I have also got to think about the TD4 and whatever crops up on that, the Mrs now wants to eventually sell one of them due to me getting a company car in August

June is the big money month that I could have done without but hey ho

It is,
It's a friend who works in air-conditioning so has all the gear and big bottles of refrigerant

A few bits planned;
Fitting 30mm spacers (nice easy one!)
Fit new front bumper when it finally arrives ( then try not to impulse buy a winch!)
Wire in my front spot/led’s that have been fitted under my roof rack for months but not connected!
Fit new sump gasket and auto transmission filter

and the big job…. Clean and fit the LT230 transfer box I’ve just bought with dif lock and fit (when I can find) an air actuator

and maybe have a bit of fun off road in it in between!!

Some awesome projects there, plus with the warmer weather now here always makes it a lot nicer
