Hi All

I am thinking about buying a Discovery 2 from the end of line models 2004. I've done some looking and an ES or ES Premium seem to be a good choice but a little confused as the ES seems to spec higher than the ES Premium? I have to admit I enjoy a spec with all the toys and would welcome any advice on what the best choice would be. I'm looking to make the most of the Discovery on long road trips, holidays etc but besides the spec I also want the reliability and was looking for a vehicle with about 50k miles on the clock. I had a Discovery 2 for a while provided by Insurance and pretty much fell in love with it and think it has a charm that seems to be lost in the Discovery 3.

Thanks to anyone who has the time to answer

Best Regards

Kieron

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

These discoveries move like hot potatoes. Had found two nice ones to go and have a look at and they both shifted within a day of being advertised. Is there something else I should know about these vehicles? Are they made of gold or come with 20 grand of cash in the glove box? I thought there was a credit crunch going on and that these cars were very much out of favour
