do all years of discovery alloys fit all year cars? in other words can I fit late discovery alloys off a 2001 to my 1993 disco?

As far as I think the late TD5 is a different PCD to the earlier ones, so no is the answer.

as a dicovery novice what year is the TD5?

Mine was a 2000 Y but a mate has a 1999 W both TD5's not sure exact change over year but 2001 is certainly TD5 and 1993 is TDi.

td5's were available from 1998 on a S plate (uk),you will need adaptors to fit these wheels to a tdi

disco 1 and 2 are different. you cant interchange them.
