I think it's perfectly reasonable to require pics. If you are female it is required, with shoe on head and forum name written on paper for authentication. Trust me there was a lady on civic type r owners that was proper crumpet!

she asked for some help, she was local, arranged to bring her car to our garage and i did some wheel bearings and fitted a spare back bumper i had, after she femaled it into a post

and then soon after that i fitted a back axle one night which she sourced to replace her rotten one.

We get on nicely and i would now go as far to call it friends, similar age so it's not weird or anything.

So there :d

Had a look at the Disco earlier, and head gasket is gone. Its blowing exhaust gases out of the back and leaking water. System is pressurising when it warms up.

Landylass is gonna be looking for another Disco now, so if anyone knows of a half decent one going, let her know, plus she has this one to shift. Its a 1995 M reg, 150K miles. MOT is recent and it had all the welding done for it, so should be solid enough for a while. Just needs the head doing, and a couple of top end oil leaks and could do with a rad. A cheap easy fix for someone who maybe wants a cheap offroader, who can do the work themselves. Got to still be worth a few quid. I'd say at least £400.
