Discovery 300tdi HELP URGENTLY NEEDED

Hi guys n gals, I've got a real problem at the moment. I have a Disco 300tdi on an M Plate, she's leaking water quite badly (I won't risk driving her at the moment) from what looks like the back of the engine just above the head area if that makes sense, have tried to look n find out more myself but really am out of my league. Problem being is I have just split with my partner, and I really do need my vehicle every day as I have a horse who needs feeding n checking. I have been told to try K Seal which will hopefully sort it out for now, but am loosing confidence in my trusty workhorse every minute at the moment ( Is there anyone out there who is local to me (North Baddesley, Southampton) who could possibly try n sort her out for me, or anyone selling a similar slightly newer one that isn't a heap of crap?! I wouldn't ask unless I was totally desperate \ If you can help please PM me - thank you

if its above head gasket line then its rear core plug in head ,or heater pipes

I am about as far away from you as you can get so can't help directly but the area your describing has two small rubber hoses going to and from your heater matrix. If it is just one of these hoses which has split it should be a fairly cheap and easy fix.

If as sounds likely it is heater pipes K seal isn't going to help........it MAY help temporarily if you have a pin-hole in a core plug but you still run the risk of running it dry with little or no warning and lose your head gasket which you REALLY dont want.

Best get it looked at ASAP
