Are you trying to start it? The dash lights will go out after a predetermined time if you do not try to start the engine.

I still can't think what is wrong woth my Land Rover Discovery 3 GS 2.7TD. When I try to change the Gearbox Oil Pan and the sleeve transmission box. I don't push the sleeve all the way in and when I plug in the wire back to the gearbox it can hear it sparking and that when my LR3 die. it give me all the light when I try to start and the car not start anymore. People think is a Mechatronic and others said is a ECU and Fuse. I don't want to give up on this baby yet.

thks, personally i would leave it alone and get someone who is experienced to have a look for u , reason being if you’ve cooked the mechtronic unit and ecu costs can spiral out of control
is there someone at work who can help u
have u disconnected the battery , where abouts in the uk are u please
what ATF oil did u use in the end
Battery is Disconnected and on charge. I’m in Northampton.
The ATF oil I use is ZF genuine

What condition is your battery?
New?
Old?
Is it even the right one for the car?
I ask as the D3 is a power hungry beast and if the battery was replaced on the cheap in the past it might not be up to the task any longer.

OK, so what about real world mechanics? School is totally different.
