Discovery 1 with edc, possible to convert to 2.8TGV?

Hello, I have a Discovery 300tdi automatic with EDC an it runs beautiful. The EDC is a fantastic system and the engine runs more soft and smoother then the mechanical 300tdi and it has more power. Is it possible to convert a 2.8tgv with the edc system. I have a perfect 2.8tgv engine with low miles (km's here in NL) and want to built in the engine and want to use the edc system.
