Discovery 1 Alternative Seats

Morning all,

Front seats in the disco are a bit ragged, does anyone know of a suitable alternative or do i just look for replacement disco seats? I seem to remember Subaru seats fit a Defender but not sure if anyone has put an alternative in a disco

You can directly swap the passenger for the driver seat, but the adjusters are a bit harder to move.
i had to do this when the lumbar support went, as i have a bad back.
(I eventually stripped both down and mended both lumbar supports, a surprisingly easy job, just took super glue!)
so you could go for two decent passenger seats, if you don't mind the adjuster issue. My attitude is that once you have adjusted the position of the back rest and lumbar support, you don't often need to adjust it, and you can slide it back and forth just the same.
If you have electric seats all this may not work.

I'll probably be breaking a 96 Di with grey seats (blue fleck) in reasonably good condition. Easiest way would be to remove the covers and foam bolsters. I'm waiting to get it transpirted home from storage and could take photos then but this may take a couple of weeks.
