Brilliant job, I'm very impressed that you've kept going despite finding more and more rot. I'm hoping that I won't need to do much welding on my 300 in the short term, but this thread is very reassuring - the before/after pics are great

:praise:

Thanks for the kind words guys. The rebuild is on hold (up on 4 axle stands) at the moment as I had a hip replacement earlier this year and wasn't able to do anything will recovering.

Now that I'm recovered its too dark and wet to do anything so will restart in the New Year

Wow what an awesome rebuild, very motivational. Just about to take on wheel arches and sills and this has helped a huge amount thank you. Hope the hip is on the mend.

Nothing like getting stuck in! You **** yourself cos you've just wrecked your own car, you're petrified cos you don't know i you've got the capability to finish the job, you're cheesed off cos 'the damn thing is such a rotten bag of ****' and you're distressed at how much it costs to repair it all.

Then when it's finished you can be happy :D

:amen: my feelings exactly... :D

Thanks Rob. great job done, Im just at the stage of trying to get my rear side panels off. Your photos have inspired me to keep going,

Hey Robp... How you getting on mate?

Just crawled out from winter hibernation and got cracking on mine again. Mind you I guess you haven't got much left that needs changing now? :D so its on to upgrades next??? ££££££

Unfortunately lack of time and enthusiasm means I have given up on the rebuild and everything is for sale.
