disco 3 electrics

hi

was wondering if anyone can help me out with a bit of info on towbar electrics.

now im sure that the black one is on a plug n play fitting but would it be the same for the grey one ? and would it need to be put on the computor to synch it to the vehicle.

also could you tell me where the plugs are located please

Plugs are located behind panel on rear bumper above where the tow ball would be (to plastic screws)

Beleive the 12N is a wired and ready to go, not quite sure on the 12S - I assume you ask because you are about to tow a caravan if it is working correctly and you have a modern caravan then when you connect the caravan up and with the engine running then none of the interior 12volt electrics should work as the fridge feed isolates the internal electrics in the caravan via a relay so that the car is only charging the caravan battery.
