Hi guys,
I've only joined today, and am hoping someone out there can help!
Whilst my disco was off the road recently, due to cylinder head replacement, the alarm mysteriously went off in the middle of the night..seems for some reason, the battery went flat..since then, the cruise control or the horns haven't worked.
I stripped the steering wheel rotary control off,and checked continuity on all wires..all ok.(I did this because it seemed a coincidence that two items on the steering wheel weren't working).
I've checked the horn fuse in engine bay box, that's ok..will check horn relay in same box next..
Any suggestions on that and also cruise control?
Fuse for C.C. ok,didn't know if it is controlled by another fuse,or if any relays are involved?
I've been told that it works directly with ecu,and no vac pipes are involved...could I have left something off when rebuilding the head?
Sorry for such a detailed post, but it's driving to distraction!!
Thanks,
Jellycream
