Disco 1 300tdi suspension lift

Hi I'm new to this off roading I have a land rover discovery 1 300tdi and have been looking at 5" lift kits is there any thing eles I will need to get that won't be sold in the kit

Brake lines will need to be chang3d for extended 1s. Props need changing for wide angle. Front radius arms need upgrading.and rear trailing arms do aswell.

A box or some sort of ladder arrangement to get in and out of the vehicle?

Sorry, just messin.
A 5" lift is pretty serious and likely to require the full works in terms of your setup. As suggested above you need caster correction, wide angle props, cranked arms and you wouldnt want to drive it daily. M and m do a 5" kit watch the top gear bolivia special for the result on an rrc. Your looking at £1500 ish to do it properly with good parts plus new tyres to fill the space left.
Seriously why do you want a 5" lift? Go 2" and fit 235 85 16 insa turbo whatsits and it will look mean for quarter the price.
