Hey Boggle, do you know if 235/85/16 will fit in my RRC on standard suspension? Guy at MJB finks they will, but norm is only 235/70/16.

I have these fitted to my Disco :D

And as it happens i'm changing two of em this week ......... one ones are going onto spare rims ............. you wanna try em for fit on your rangey mate? ;)

Could drop one around for you one evening and we'll get it done :D

Thanks, might be a good idea,
but i think the disco rims sit a bit different to the rangey ones (further out i think).
 
rangie and disco rims sit the same...defender rims sit out further....but dont quote me on that....

you will have to do some cutting on the arches to fit the 85,s....

i would have said you would be better with235/70/16's or 265 70 16's....i have the latter on my rrc....but they are on defender rims, but i do have one on a rrc wheel if you want to try it...and its an anaconda too:eek:

i have some insa on my disco and for the money they are great, they have the bfg mud pattern, they came from mailorder 4x4.....will post a link...
 
Was nice to meet somem of you on sunday, even though I didn't plan on it! I happened on that site last year, and tried and failed to describe where it was on here a while back.

Went back there this year, while down in cornwall on a short holiday, and met you there! And I am glad that there is at least one picture of my multi coloured LR on there...

Anyway, was nice to say a brief hello to a few people.
 
Ello Boydy, you didn't fail to describe it, i think i found the site last year because of the directions you gave us and have been back a few times since! Hadn't realised that we were that close to you, the SLAPPERS title is more far reaching than i'd realised - yer shoulda come over n had a burger!!

Did you know we were going to be there before you turned up??
 
No i didn't - i was staying in polzeath from wednesday until yesterday, and I had wanted to come back to that site, so we just kinda did when we had a spare day, I noticed the LandyZone sticker on Trewys 90, and enquired!

Im glad my directions weren't completely useless, I almost didnt find it again this year, but i spotted that bridleway opposite the t junction on the map and got navigated there. Was a good laugh, but felt quite rude just turning up! 'Specially as i'm quite a junior member on here still. :)
