Very nice vids Trewy, think we need L and R tattooed on Pauls hands! Man those woods were slippy, and sticky mud, 10 seconds in and we were all on slicks! Not sure about Celine Dion as co-pilot though (or whoever it was wailing in the background!)

Love of me live's in for her heart transplant today - the TD for a 200, and they gave me a disco 200 to drive - they're quite nice aren't they! Got onto the A30, thought "blimey this is a bit rough and noisy" and looked down to find i was doing nearly 90! oops...but it does mean there's some TD parts up for grabs if anyone needs em - might do a "bits of OD's TD" fred when i get it back. The one they're putting in looked virtually new! :D

just send everthing that's left over to north wales, it'll come in handy even if he never uses it
 
He's already got his name on some air intake tube but he can have the lot if he wants it - it is a pretty good engine (it got 2 stuck tdi's in a chain out of the mire on sat!!:D:D:D)
 
i bet whoever is doing the conversion uses that pipe as it's a hard size to get hold of without spending £40 on one

what he doing with the engine ? - or have we had this conversation before ?

Good vids, that's helluva good quality off your phone - looks like proper movie clarity!

If you do a youtube search for baldhu, there;s a big pond somewhere we didn't see (else it was a bit drier) but i didn't recognise it.
 
nice vids trew,as for the L&R i was just going which ever way slid the best,could do with some tank tracks for next time,found out what the clunking was ,big rock stuck in between my spring and shock

Off me camera rather than phone, takes ages to upload though!

I spotted that, was trying to work out if it was the same place.
 
just had a look at this and thought them lot look fimilar then i remembered :rolleyes: ,if you look in the winching operation video there was a blue 90 helping to pull one of you out:rolleyes: that was my lad and me :) it was a navy blue 300 tdi that was stuck i think:cool: small world eh

Was that mine, you were following me through the pond and round the wood when i went up that bank and into the sand and got stuck between the two trees??? (if so, nothing TDi about that!) - but i did offer you one of me birfdy cakes fer ya help!!! (Is yours the one with the 300 conversion?)

I remember, well kittted out motor you have there!

Mine was a bog standard old TD 90 (then!) and i kind of lost it on that sand bank, luckily the Great Trewdini was to the rescue!

The disco 3 was DaveT disco3's, and it is a superb bit of kit - bit shiney to be taking through the trees though, OI DAVE, GET YER LIGHTWEIGHT BACK UP AND RUNNING!!!
 
I'm up for this if theres room for a little one ;)

Not had internet for a while so hopefully i aint too late :rolleyes:

Just bought ANOTHER Disco too :p ............... but it wont be ready till beginning of next month (engine change) :(
