Ashlocker I reckon is best option.
Ah well that's the difference, A Freelander will float (or sail ), Defenders do have a tendency to leak (and sink)
If only there was a 'thumbs-down' option for comments on this forumBuy a jeep they got factory installed lockers As most all american 4x4's

Jeeps....
Need I say more?
And now it's in mine thx for thathahaha ... for some reason the song "barbie girl" just popped into my head :s
Depends on usage. If you want to drive off road a lot, work it in the country, heavy offroading, trials etc. 90 or Defender 90.advantages / disadvantages of a fender over a disco?
Trust me, an axle lockered Ninety with centre locked as well will beat traction control every time!I'll remember the above the next time I cruise by a fender stuck coz it has no TC.
May not be to do with cars. Maybe you are a better driver!my bro in his 110 got stuck in some ruts, i sailed through them in my freelander :s

I agree, they are fine for light off road use. I don't use mine much off road, but been around the fields a few times. It is ok.my main concern would be contact with the bumpers, the plastic has gone pretty fragile on mine!Never said it wouldn't but the point made by Fmog is that a D2 needs a lot of money spending on it to make it competent offroad and that's just not true.
Nobody's ever offered me money, ungrateful! A nice looking lady who slid her MX5 off the road in snow wanted my number, I politely declined due to the Mrs at home!I tow anyone... because it's a lot of fun and people try giving you money!!
No contest. 110 Defender all the way.cool, thanks for the info guys ... i'm still umming and arring about whether to get a disco or a defender :s
Decisions decisions!!
That sort of thing worries me. Makes me think someone's about to steal it. I have kept all the bits of paper that have been left under my windscreen wiper with people's mobile phone numbers on, just in case they're useful starting points in event of a theft.I've had at least ten people offer to buy my 110.
And last week a guy knocked on the door and asked if the 90 was for sale.
I wouldn't take kindly to that either. In fact I would tell them to get off my land, and never come back! That sort of thing worries me. Makes me think someone's about to steal it.
