Yes its a 2.5 vm motor and because i fancy a petrol engineWhy? Is it the VM motor in it?
do you mean rrc petrol engine and gearbox and mounts and it will fit straight in ?you need the engine and gear box, plus mounts, rad ,exhaust etc
So was the Jeep (wash my mouth out), but it had one cylinder head unlike the R/R which had 4.The current London Taxi, the TX4, is fitted with a VM engine but I don't know what size although through the years the taxis have had a lot of 2.2s and 2.5s.

I've just got some JCB one's that do the same, except for the heel's, but give it time.I bought some work socks with the J**p logo. They weren't very comfortable, left fluff between me toes - and the heels wore out!!
The Range Rover socks are good - but sometimes the cushioned soles throw up a fault, and you end up a bit lop-sided.I've just got some JCB one's that do the same, except for the heel's, but give it time.

Never bothered, cooked it in France coming back from Spain. Plague of moths and butterflies blocked the radiator but it still got us back home. I stripped it to find four cracked heads and picked up on one cylinder so I put another engine in.Some of the J**ps had the same 4 separate head engine, I think the later ones had the single head engine.
Have you seen the price on just one of those heads
