At lest I think it is, have a Diesel leak front left hand side (pax side) with a black tube going into what I think is the pump, when the engine is running I am getting what looks like 3 leaks coming out, anyway its ****ing out, if it is the pump, how hard is it to DIY replace, and is it repairable with a kit, or is it new second hand? job only... any tips (apart for not getting a Land Rover etc)

Thanks mucho

Possible if you know what you are doing could be a serious disaster if you don't.

Haaa..... thats me not DIY it then....so now I have to find a pump, and someone competent enough to do it

Sorry took so long.. had to use my camera... iphone would have none of it

Looks like the pump top. There are threads on here how to change seal on that, pretty easy job. But if you do take top off DO NOT play with anything under it.

Wam thanks for the link... is there a how to some place? do you know so I can see if I can DIY it???

There is somewhere do a search. You will need a twelve point 7 or 8 mm socket forget which to knock onto the anti tamper bolt. Leave the socket on it and take it off after you replace it.

Ok researching now... thanks,,, looks like a job for a patient man

Look for something by Crashbox i think photos with it. But don't remove the lower part or you are in for a world of pain if you don't know what you are doing. First thing is remove manifold unless you are a trained gynecologist and can paper your hallway through the letter box.

oh and it's 7mm you need for the security bolt, don't worry even the correct tool makes a mess of it!!
