well i must say that i am disolusioned with some main dealers and i suppose the technitions that work for the dealears at the end of the day,i go into work with the head on that i want to fix cars and keep people happy as i would be with my own car,it comes down to how much you care about getting the job done right,i was lucky i suppose i joined landrover 3.5 years ago just doing freelander recalls for £7.15 an hour i was a manager in a steel fabriction/powder coating workshop for almost 8 years, god i hated the job but the £25k a year was nice,so know i have supassed myself and others and am a very up in the field now or hope i am,all i try and do is help people, best thing you can do is go into your dealers and say i fixed it with the help of my friends, just debating about starting my own buisness in landrovers of course just not sure if i have the guts to do it,you just get fed up earning £75 an hour for the garage and not even £9 for myself,im glad it worked for you chers tiga.ksg said:Hi Tiga,
thanks for the info on suppliers, I got the resistor off Maplins web site, the resistor arrived today, followed your instructions and the vehicle is now sorted, thanks very much for the knowledge on the mod, greatly appreciated, Its a shame that the dealers won't acknowledge the problem according to them you have to live with it when the vehicle has done approx 70k
