Diesel fuel heater

Fuel heater stopped working last year,have took sensor off from behind bumper put it in fridge , put tester on & got a circuit . Shorted plug with engine running no heater.
Can find no sign of it on any wiring diagram.
Anyone know where fuses are as I can’t trace wire back & don’t seem to be getting any feed in

If it's a FL1 TD4 then fuse 5 of the engine bay fuse box is for the FBH.

Will have another look but tried every fuse I could find

When you shorted the circuit did you hear the dowsing pump clicking away in the drivers side wheel arch?

Not sure will take sensor off again @ weekend & double check thanks

Just remember’d does the engine have to be running @ this point or just the ignition turned on

The engine needs to be running, unless you have the timer or remote control option.

Had engine running shorted switch nothing but have tested the three leads on other plug Got reading 6.55 on orange wire socket 2

Have you check the connector on the pump it's self?

You could do with checking the current across fuse 5.
