Diaphragm valve kit

I’m in the process of buying a diaphragm valve kit for the valve block
I’ve noticed some kits don’t have the hard black centre piece ?
please see picture
The first picture shows what some kits are selling the second picture is what I have

You want the kit with the diaphragm. There are no hard pieces in the kit that I recall, any metal parts are reused including that metal disc and the spring below it.

XBR seem to be the best for EAS stuff

I did notice XBR was the only one who included a square rubber for the solenoid
I was referring to this little round metal insert see picture that sits inside the diaphragm
Some kits have new ones some don’t

You don't need a new one, use the one you've got, unless you lose it but the spring underneath is more likely to boing off and get lost.

Another +1 for X8R. I refurbed my valve block with one of their kits last year and was impressed. It's been fine since (so far...)

The picture of their kit does appear to have that piece.
