devon lanes

evening all.
i am going to spend a few weeks in devon this summer, dont know exact dates yet, are there any regular green lane runs, or a club run i could tag along with. i am a GLASS member plus Essex Land Rover club member.
can any recommend a pay and play site in same area.

Which part of Devon are you visiting?

Torbay 4x4 Club usually have a few events per month or you can speak to Keith at the Off Road Zone at Trago Mills in south Devon.

If you want to do some green lanes, then take a look at Devon Public Right Of Way Maps for some byways.

it will be north devon have not decided on location, but will check out those contacts when im sorted thanks

dont fink north devon has many lanes !! mind could be wrong

im down that way for a couple of weeks so i dont mind a bit of traveling south if i have to.

I did a few lanes round Devon a couple weeks back, 70mile round trip me father planned for the day, but it ended up with our alternator packing up and when there wasnt enuf juice for the fuel pump we stopped lol.

Working on the theory that we get it all sorted before that could do the same route, twas good fun but there was a couple extreme sections that even I bottled out of as it was just us at the time in one vehicle.
