flippin' gert. I'll also be bringing a high lift jack, fat tow rope with shackles, spade and also a petrol camping stove with a kettle, although I don't drink tea or coffee so if you want to borrow some hot water you'll have to bring your own, I'll be going for cup a soups to keep me warm when I'm taking photos of you lot stuck in ditches and the like:D

Doh... Need a CB. Miss out on all the banter. Haha.

Should be a great day. Looking forward to it. :)

Yeah, get one quick. I got all of my stuff from thunderpole.

I think I'll bring some stuff for making tea, so bring a mug if you want one.

Got a gopro last week, so will set that up. Should get some good videos I hope.

ARGH!!!!!! I will get this landy running if it kills me! I think Im going to have to bodge for the weekend and do a full fix afterwards if I cant get it running in the next couple of days.

It has just been snowing here....oddly enough, should be interesting laning in the snow! I was going to bring a flask, but if people are taking heating equipment I think I shall be brining the makings of a cup of tea and asking to borrow your heat! hehe. Or make a fire pit if we get really stuck!!

What's the matter with it?

Right, I hate laning. It makes me buy stuff.... :p

Went into Maplins, picked up the cheapest one.... No microphone. So took the next one.

Wired it in (Really REALLY badly for now) and heard nothing but two Polish guys talking. Delightful. Now... What the hell is squealch?

I'm glad I can turn that down... Don't want anyone hearing!

Mine looks like it was attacked by a bread knife....

I'll rewire it once I get time! :D

Mine is still in the garage so you are one up on me. I'm waiting for some sheet steel to be delivered so I can make a bracket for the roof rack. Hopefully it won't be sheered off this time!

I'll be right there with you! :D Gaffer taped/Nailed.... whatever

Ok...so it turns out the stainless steel plate I ordered is 50mm x 50mm rather than the 500mm I thought it was, which makes it less a plate and more a coaster...

So mine will also be cable tied on!

James, how big a piece do you actually need? I've got several strips of various lengths but only about 300mm wide. If that's wide enough then call here before the Yonderman on Saturday and pick a bit to suit. Got some ally plate that's wider if 300mm not enough.

None of these aerial mount problems for me, my CB is a handheld job like a big walky talky. Only problem is, the range is measured in feet rather than miles:eek:
