Just pointing out that if Polsta was to follow your advice of just bunging a load of svo in his tank at the current outside temps were having he wouldn't getting ****ing far, would he?
Not getting stroppy, just don't want someone to **** up there motor for no reason.
It's never fooked me up.
The only thing I forgot to add (apologies) my Disco is kept in the house garage.
It's pretty mild in there...!
The house garage is around the same temp as the house.
In the morning the garage door is flung open in the morning and the disco started until temp gauge is starting to read, then driven.
If your disco is kept outside in this weather you may have to experiment a little but it aint fookin rocket science in it....!
There is plenty info on here...do a search.
how much would average Joe have to pay for a suitable centrifuge and the associated lab testing services ?
Whoopy feckin doo...Get a life ya feckin toss pot.[/COLOR]
WELL DONE:clap2: that's exactly what I said 20 mins ago:doh:.
I feel uncomfortable sharing information with you....Don't take offence..
It's nice to "shoot the ****" on here with folks about ideas and experiments and things we'd like to do with our hard earned bought landys but your fookin way too deep for me to have a banter with....sorry mate...
Whoopy feckin doo...Get a life ya feckin toss pot.
You said feck all like that.....
If I didn't have a garage I'd still bung 100% in and see how the fookin thing went.
Bawbag
got bored waiting for the vanilla to reply so
just pour the SVO into the tank - change the fuel filter after 100 miles and then 500 miles has it flushes the crap outta the fuel lines - using it in this weather will result in blocked lines so mix it with lots of diesel and unleaded
WVO is good if you can find any of it for free these days, filter the bits out and as above - pour it in
dipping is the old fashioned term for the road side checks, which used to be aimed at finding peeps who were using red diesel, which has a lower duty paid, for public highway use
there's an allowance of 2500l for "bio" fuels, so there's no additional duty to be paid as long as you use the ingredients deemed to be constitutes of bio fuels
Honestly Polsta it has been covered many many times, please do a search, Sean has explained this far too often and I have become sick of trying to explain it to people.
Try doing a google search aswell as just on here there are forums dedicated to veg oil usage.
you mean you can't back up your comments with ANY proof ?
putting it simply - all i want to do is to confirm that people can follow your advice and use engine oils as a road fuel, without paying duty, and not risk a large fine
