£1.26 here! Cowing rip off and only gonna get worse!
I had a conversation about this with someone the other day, what do you filter it through and do you get much smoke (well any more than normal that is) he runs a granada with a VM init.Old engine oil in mine its the future lol
i prefer to call myself frugal.I'm a £10.00 at a time man. I don't believe in lugging around all that extra weight of fuel, more weight = less MPG...At least thats my excuse for being a tight arse.
I work in a garage mate I drain sumps into a 25ltr can then poor it straight in i don't filter it at all. Only problem i've ever had is block my fuel filter on my escort van swapped it and it was fine again. I just keep a spare filter in the disco incase.
Summer £20 of diesel and 50ltrs of oil. 300 ish miles
winter £20 of diesel and 25ltrs of oil = 200 miles
Smokes on start up and when left to idle for a while but when driving its not that noticable tbh.

have you been dipped ?
Surely even if they dip him, as long as it doesn't come up red, they'll just let him go. Unless he gets caught in a full ministry check point.
What's the fines for running on red these days?
How can they gauge how many litres have been used?
