fitted some new deflex polys to my rear shocks last night. had to burn off the old ones :D what a stink!

the lower ones however are massive! their twice as thick as the original bushes and smaller in diameter. i couldnt get both on (either side of the axle mount) with a nut. it was impossible.

so i put the old ones back in, as there wasnt much wrong with them.

is this a design fault or what? they really are **** arnt they?! for £50 what did i expect :D

i did buy standard upper ones a while back but i dont got a vice or press to push them in. the deflex ones are alf n alf so easy to install. i also need to do all other bushes (radius arms, trialing arms etc). seemed like a good idea to get a full set and replace bit by bit. everything else looks fine except their shock bushes!

I got the full deflex set and ended up using the polys that came with my new shocks for the shocks as the deflexes looked like they were for a lorry.

Ended up cutting the deflexes in half and used em to mount my new fuel tank.

but yeah - they're pretty crap and of varied quality.
