Yeah but you wont get reptitive vibrations for long periods whilst shooting or golfing...

I use mine on my Crosser, and i've had it in for a service and they said they replaced the part on it FOC as it had signs of early wear (only had it 18 months).

Good of em! ;)

i have a submariner... it was bought 18 years ago, sat in a box for 18 years then given to me, all was fine for about 3 months then it developed a problem with the winder, went for a full service to rolex hq, came back problem still existed, went away again all fixed now...

when you sent it for servicing didn't you get a little green card stating 'This watch has undergone a complete overhaul... function guaranteed for 2 years...'

it took just over 2 months for the full service then second time around was just under 2 weeks as it was a warranty not a service...

it is 'the ultimate driver's watch'

... i tried to trade my sub in for a daytona when i first got it...

Weirdly, i drive exactly the same with my hand always on the gearlever unless turning etc.

This could be down to learning to drive in an old citreon which kept jumping out of gear so i had to hold the gear stick in place...

Appears it is, Mine is identical to that in every single way.

Apologies :)

something is 2mm thicker, can't remember what ive held both in my hand at the same time... slight difference nothing major.

the orig sub came out in 1954
