defender rims fitting to a d2

Hi guys i just bought some 235/85/16 lion max offroad tyres and 8 spoke steel wheels 2nd hand like bit still look new. i took a chance becouse i got told they come off a td5 90 so bit the bullet bought them. i have checked that the rims will not fit my axle. i want to get some wheel adaptors becouse i like the 8 spoke rims. where would i get wheel adaptors to fit my axle but fit the defender wheels from? if any one is selling any on here i would buy them even if there new or 2nd hand? plus has any body got a 2 inch lift kit for sale for a d2? cheers guys

it may be easier to get a set of rims that fit yours and put the tyres on them, then sell the others

Hi pal thanks for replying. i no thats what i was going to do but i like the 8 spoke ones that i have got. any ideas on wheel adaptors where to get them from or who? and do you no any one with a d2 2inch suspension and shocks for sale? cheers pal
