Selling a Defender LT77 gearbox.

The output shaft is very worn but the gearbox itself seemed OK. This was pulled out of my 110 in favour of fitting a Defender R380.

Linkage has been removed as I need this for another project.

Does £40 seem too much?

Can be collected from near Witney or Didcot (I can take it to work) in Oxfordshire or you can arrange a courier if you want but I will need cash on collection.

Gearbox is painted in a greeny-blue, so perhaps ex military?

Cheers

You don't understand, I have already done the conversion. Fitted a Defender R380 to a Discovery 200Tdi, moved it all forward, used a Discovery gearbox crossmember etc etc.

This is just the leftovers.

Nah, been completed about 4 months now. I thought about keeping the gearbox but I can't think of anything I would use it for. Might as well pass it on if I can.

Yeah makes sense, I'm selling off my short R380 now as I've bought an SM420 to handle the torque monster 429 engine I'm putting in my build

Cant justify keeping a brand new box I've got no use for

Only reason I tell my self to keep stuff is for a future project, And that's why I've got 2 shed's full of bits :D

i'll have it but would need to have it collected if poss. i can bank transfer or paypal the money to you. you'd need to drain oil, and wrap/card board it up so the courier will take it though.

Thanks

Hi Mate.

Have you still got the gearbox? If so what suffix is it? Do you want it out of the way urgently? I could arrange collection through my works delivery vans but I'd need to arrange round their runs. (I'm in Derbyshire)

Cheers
