WTF!!!

Good for hemmoroids?

Very good for sound actually, coupled with a pair of enclosed speakers and directional tweeters fitted just behind the seats.

With a defender though you need to also put in masses of soundproofing or its all pretty pointless.

About to install a stereo into my 110, 1992, but it doesn't have any dash speakers or holes for them to go into. Do I need any Land Rover parts for the holes and is there a template available to cut the holes in the right place?

My 200tdi didn't have a radio, so i swapped the quarter dash panels with one from a 300tdi, then used the standard spacers.
I replaced my Dash speakers with Pioneer ones, which sounded lovely to my knees! Then stuck a pair of old Kenwood 6x9's between the cubby box, and a pair of Kenwood monitor speakers from my last home PA in the load bay, on L Brackets. tune the Crossovers correctly it sounds excellent! Cost to me -£25 (Pioneers). And i'm a sound engineer.

Got a 110, 200Tdi, 1992 and haven't decided where to install front speakers. Currently, there are no holes in the dash. Would prefer to install them into the doors, but not sure if they'll fit, or what size and what mounts I'll need. Any takers?

why not one in wiper motor cover part of dash

Thought about it, but very nervous about cutting holes in that area without a template, especially the hole near the ignition and the sea of wires behind.

Also, have read that door installations (if possible for my model) will allow for larger speakers and provide a better sound.

Like this, for instance:

Yes they'll be great in the doors. Plus you'll get to have new ones every six months because the cones will have rotted away tee hee.
Mine has had some wooden boxes made into the back corners with some ecliptical 3 way things in them. Not that I can hear it with the engine running anyway

Good point re cones getting damp - especially if watrer ****es through the OP's doors as it does mine:eek:

Some speakers used to come with plastic shields to provide some protection - might be worth making something up to do the job

Personally i'd put under dash
