Can anyone help me. Recently had a snapped fornt halfshaft. I attempted to do the repair myself and chose the wrong side when it tuirns out the snapped side was drivers. I drained the oil on the incorrect side and then decided to call it a day as unsure that was def the problem. To cut long story short took to local garage and they repaired and drained the diff and re filled etc. Do i still need to put the oil back into the passenger side that I started to strip or does the oil from the diff work down into that shaft. As you can tell i don't know much about this  and if I do need to re fill then where is the filler etc ??

Finally not had landy long and guy before me said he changed the cam belt. I have no paperwork and being high mileage wanted to check that this is correct. I there any easy way of checking and how do i locate it Thanks

cheers. is there a oil plug/nipple etc on the swivel housing. Don't suppose you got any pics as to where its located. cheers

presume its the same on a fender.......square headed plug on the inside of the hub.....its a level plug so just crawl under....remove plug.....fill until it starts coming out and replace plug

That's the fella. Some of them (including the one in the Haynes manual) have a fill and a level plug - but mine doesn't. Confused the hell out of me when I first got under there!
