Hi, my 2011 Defender 90 was stolen today from Petersfield station car park (Hampshire) while I was at work. Completely heartbroken - if there’s any news at all about a navy blue 90 with one roof rack bar I’d be so grateful. Don’t expect it still has its plates on - reported to police but not very hopeful of any good news.
Thanks.

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully it’ll get found and those responsible are caught.

it’s not the first Landy to go from this location from memory. I’m sure I’ve heard of at least one other on Landywatch.

Sorry to hear this.
Two stolen from near me in the last month.

Were there any aftermarket security products fitted?

I just want to break someone’s fingers for this - I’m tempted to stop my rebuild and give it away before someone targets the finished article. Clearly much investment in both money and time went in that lovely truck

Don't give up the rebuild. Whilst these thieving fcukers are out there we just need to add the many layers of security...then enjoy our tractors when out and about. But it is getting worse, just seen this on Landywatch, stolen Lincolnshire.

>>Upset, violated and angry waking up to this.
Engine was cut at 1.52am. You work hard and this is what happens. What sort of world do we live in?
This was very much an organised gang and the parts no doubt already sold.
*All doors taken (x4 coloured same as body)
*Boot door
*Carpets
*Front Seats
*Windscreen removed entirely
*Radio

Saw this on Landywatch earlier. I’m gutted for the owner. The used parts market appears to be driving thefts of parts, especially puma doors.

There's a company sells brand new complete doors for around £3,000 for two
Which sounds a lot, but the doors are fully fitted, in primer, and just need painting.

£4,000 including the back door.

Not sure how good they are, but at least it means the insurance should repair a Defender where the doors have been stolen, as they often write them off.

Looking at that it’s not a write off body wise but did I read they’d also purloined the enjin?

Who's buying all these doors bonnets and seats?
There must be hundreds of them.
Puma Defenders don't need new doors etc, so they must be going on older Land Rovers somewhere

They do if they've had theirs nicked

The same happened with D2 headlights. People had theirs popped out and then bought replacements off fleabay with broken clips ffs!

l've done all the glass including the side windows and rear 1/4 windows

When you get the kit, it will contain a number of one-use etchings which you can specify when ordering.

Don't be tempted to try and re use them, it looks like they will work a second time but they won't, it makes a smudged mess
on the window that you can't remove

For a 110 you need 14
And for a 90 you need 10

So a stencil & grinder won’t work then?
