Anyone got a linky to a guide for Defender 90 Body Removal

Want to spray mine in the summer but need to break it down itno smaller bits so it fits in garage!

Roof+Sides
Tub
wings
Seat Box

Do i need a guide or is fairly simply if i actually just go for it ?

roof is simple. Remove all doors, unbolt roof at sides and above windscreen. & lift off. it mnay stick above screen use a long thin knife to cut thru sealant if it does Yu can easily manage roof on ya own.

Sides are even easier.

front screen is just hed on by screen hinges 2 bolts on each one. rear tub need unbolting from seatbox (behind seats) and from chassis. I remove seat box first as it's easier to get at front tub mounts. needs 1 other person to lift the tub, Though it can be done solo (I have done it on me own.)

When I bought it.

Cheers Redhand.

It sounds as simple as everything else Landrover and its just a case of locating all the nuts and bolts. And if it doesnt come off find the one you missed!

Yep from memory and it has been nearly 5 years since I removed tub ,

theres the obvious bolts on the rear crossmember.
the seatbelt mounting bolts
the seatbox to rear tub bolts
and 2 brackets just inboard of the rear bulkhead.
Oh and don't forget the battery cables when yu remove the seatbox.
When dealing with the the wiring to the rear lights etc take lots of close up fotos and label all the wires with the corresponding colour as some wires connect to differently coloured ones.

I`ve just googled how to remove a Land Rover 90 body and this thread came up, which is uncanny considering this is the truck I am going to be stripping down and rebuilding this summer:

Unfortunately the old girl isn`t looking anywhere near as shiny as when you had her redhand
