I have my special tracks balanced but I do have a fair bit of lead on em. I opted to have it all only on the inside of the rim out of sight cos I see pikey quite often and wuz scared he'd start stripping the lead off my wheels aswell as off my roof.;):p:p:p.

Surely even if you did get a piccy it'd of just looked like the wind had blown over a garden gnome perched on top of the caravan?:p

here's some examples for you. You'll notice how hard it is to spot the difference between the real gnomes and pikey.

Ooops. I seem to have slipped in a piccy from pikeys last photo shoot.

I had my MTs balanced on the Disco. The place ran out of the lead weights. Should have seen the blokes face as his whole box of lead disappeared.

It's a nice feeling when you pay £2 for £20 worth of lead.:p

Pikey used to get his wheels balanced 4 times a day. He also used to hit em with a sledge hamer on a ragular basis. I can't see why he'd wanna do that?:p

right im having a problem with the tyres now at 40 the steering wheel wobbles and at 60 it is un drivable so i have to sit at 50 on the motorway where it is sort of ok if i dont try to change lane too fast so i have been to every local tyre fitter and no one said they could fit them on there balencing machine but the sixth garrage gave it a go he got a reading of 210 and 245 and said he couldnt balence them and didnt even bother putting any lead on or checking the other three wheels anyone know if he was right or just bullsh*ting me by the way he struggled to get the wheel off the car and could not lift it on to the machine an i had to put it back on the car puff

were abouts are you

yea i was planning on phoning them tomorrow but i have been looking in to ballence beads from devon 4x4 does anyone know if they are any good?

i think their about £36 for four wheels including postage but then i would have to take them somwhere to get them put in but it depends how good they are if anyone has had any experianxe with them

hi i have a td5 defender 90 and i am looking to put 35"s or 37"s on it i was wondering if any of these will fit until i can afford a 2" lift. i will not be taking it off road until i get the suspension so im not too worried if the tyres will rub on the arches on the bumpy stuff for the time being i just want to know if they will fit under the arches without me haveing to cut them.

I have read somewhere that if you extend the axles with multiple plates, I think you need 7-10 35mm spacers mounted together, you can pretty much put any tyres on that you want - a friend of mine did this and he actually managed to mount some 46" wheels on his...of course, his top speed is now only 8.7mph, but he can pretty much drive anywhere....
pm me for more details..
