Battery on won't bleed air leak fpr I need a new gasket for fpr, I used old one because the one sent me it for p15 engine I was impatient to get going. I used to have a none return value this filter housing did not come with one. please should I put one in. it was fine for two years?

Regarding the non-return valve in the fuel filter housing, some TD5s seem to come without one and have no problems. As long as you have the bleed air valve in the right place you should be OK. Sorry to hear about the FPR gasket; there do seem to be many types.

Outside rear is correct. Not having a non-return valve is entirely normal, certainly RAVE does not show one.

When running it self-bleeds, but the easiest way to do it is to turn the ignition to position II (power, but engine off), pump the accelerator about 5 times until the MIL (engine check light) flashes. This starts an auto bleed sequence that lasts about 5 minutes. If these is a lot of air, you might need to run it a couple of times.

If that fails, this is the Purge procedure in RAVE
Purge
1. Turn the ignition switch off and wait 15
seconds.
2. Turn the ignition switch to position II and wait 3
minutes (this ensures that the fuel system
purges all the air from the fuel rail within the
cylinder head).
3. Fully depress the throttle pedal.
4. Keeping the throttle pedal fully depressed,
crank the engine.
5. As soon as engine speed exceeds 600 rev/min,
release the throttle pedal and the ignition
switch.The engine must not be cranked
continuously for more than 30 seconds at
any one time.
6. If the engine fails to start, repeat the above
procedure.

Update all good she’s going again luv the sound’ things I found the non return value was in the front inside pipe put in the back inside pipe now. she took a bit of bleeding about 4 5 times and put foot to the floor and cranked and it tried leaving for a minute and it went no pressure dropping going great Thanks you guys for all help this is a great place for help
