decent garage/Indy South London?

Hi all

Having recently acquired a P38 I need to get someone who can service it and knows their way around one to do a few jobs. I have a great mechanic for my MX-5 but he doesn't seem to keen on the RR due to complexity.

Does anyone know of anyone worth bearing in mind? Looking for around South West London but don't mind a but of distance for the right folk. Its easy enough to consider Croydon etc - worse case I am looking at MID engineering but they are miles out in Oxford!

Cheers Domino I have noted them - I will use them if I can't find anything else. I presumed by the nature of their business labour would be huge?
 
Diesel or petrol?

They're not at all bad to work on, on the whole. The things that tend to go wrong are air suspension and cooling and both of those are easy to do. Oh, and maybe door locks.

Well, for a new EAS compressor, 2 new airbags and a health check I paid just under 600. The bags and compressor came up to 350 odd

I think my figures are slightly off - I don't have a copy of the invoice handy. I know the bags were £70 each and the compressor was around the £170 mark. The rest was labour.

It's an indy.. and they're 'specialists'.. and they're in South London so figured i'd drop the name in :)

Airbags £60 each, compressor overhaul kit £30, an hours work, total £250.

If you are going to go that way, could go a little further and used Keith Gott.. he used to be in 'Saaf Laahndan' till he relocated to Alton.


Challenger 4x4 in Tongham..
 
try SAYERS M.R., in feltham, by heathrow…. very good independent LR specialists,
