Drunk drivers are a real danger to all our lives. Drunk driver are the
biggest killers on the read. I think the law should get tough on drunk
drivers, NOW!

prove it ....alcohol in a persons blood system does not mean alcohol is the
cause of the accident..stats have a very hard time proving causality ....try
testing each persons blood in an accident for caffiene...i bet there are
more caffiene junkies out there than alcos behind the wheel.

also who would be more dangerous on the roads ...michael schumacher after 4
beers or an 87 year ol granma after 3 cups of tee, who hasnt driven for 8
years but still holds a valid license ....every person is different and
drugs affect people differently..so to have a generic limit for everyone is
a crock....

if you want to rave on about reaction times..consider the reaction time of
granma hitting the brakes...also consider the quality of the vehicle ..i bet
a ferrari stops alot better and quicker than a xb falcon ...yet both cars
are subject to the same road rules/speed limits..??

Don't be silly. Drinking just one pint of lager has an adverse affect on
your driving , but a cup of coffee don't have any affect on your driving.

Michael Schumacher is a very slim man & i think alcohol will have an adverst
affect on him. I think Michael Schumacher would be more dangerus after 4
beers.

Do you have the results of any studies to show there are no negative side
effects of coffee on driving? Cannabis has been shown to have a positive effect
on driving such as improved concentration and better spatial awareness in
studies it has also been shown to lower drivers probability to take risks, be
impatient or suffer road rage. There can be negative effects such as tiredness
after large doses but that doesn't mean that we should overlook the positive
effects. I say lets make it compulsory for all drivers and conduct a 2 year
study to compare the number of lives saved to the drink driving & speed camera
campaigns.
