I have a set of daytime running lights for my Defender 110 (6-speed model) I have a relay, and everything ready to go.

All I need to locate is a live feed under the bonnet.

Live feed - as in live when the engine is running.

Can anybody point me to a suitable cable that is easy to find?

Cheers

Why? They look stupid, and quite frankly if a pedestrian cannot see a massive land rover or indeed any vehicle in broad daylight then they deserve to be run over in my opinion. Bloody stupid idea. You may wish to look into fuel stop solenoid / alternator warning light / oil pressure switch. It's been discussed before so the Info
is out there.

First - I have a cunning plan to make them not look stupid

Second - I'm not too fussed about running down pedestrians, but am more concerned about overtakers who don't have their eyes open ('looked but failed to observe' is the most common cause of accidents according to British insurers)

Third - what colour lead should I be looking for?

Fourth - where are the other threads where it has been previously discussed?

Cheers
