which dashcams?Yes we run dashcams. After very nearly having a head on collision with a silly driver (it is not fun doing an emergency stop with a 3.5 tonne trailer behind us on a wet downhill road) we have fitted Nextbase dashcams to our Defenders. Could provide useful evidence in the occurrance of an insurance scenario.

It was £60 or £70 quid iirc.
maybe it is a 32Gb or 16Gb card, main thing is it is a class 10 card.

Halfrauds,
Class 10 is the write speed from what I understand , so 10 is good , 1 is not.

cant go wrong for £15, whats the brand name?Yes.
I have a £14.99 one out of Home Bargains, brilliant thing, cheap as chips and takes a 32GB card, no idea of this write speed but on play back it is better than a lot of the dashcam crash compilation footage you see on YT.
for those of you who use dashcams, did you get it professionally installed or do you just connect it to the charger (cigarette lighter charger) with all the wires out and about?
I found I had to turn the G sensor off though as it was set off constantly from just being in a landy!
Mine protects the file when I close the door......I must change the settings. But I am old and forgotted things .......now what was I doing?
Cheers
