Hi,
I got stuck in some water while offroading and it has caused a few probs. I have sorted everything apart from my dancing rev counter and central locking. It seems to be getting worse rather than better as everything dries.
Im quite new to disco's so i'm looking for ideas. The water did come quite high, up to our lasses waist in the passenger side
much to her disgust. (It knackered all the electrics including central locking)... I got the central locking working by taking off the green box under the dash on the passenger side and wd-40'ing it, which worked fine until I jacked it up to add the lift kit and hasn't worked since??? The green box is still dry.
The rev counter hasn't worked properly at all since. Just does what it wants really, It sometimes doesn't read at all. Is it a mechanical one which taps straight into the gearbox?? or is it digital??
The car is more or less dried out (Ive had an electric heater in it for 3 weeks).
Any help would be great?!?
Dave.
